During my recent stay at D&D, I was met with a juxtaposition of luxury and practicality. While our spacious room in the vault offered comfortable bedding and commendable housekeeping, particularly the cleanliness, the experience fell short in other critical areas. The absence of an on-site bar and a functioning restaurant left much to be desired. Although breakfast was varied, the lack of dining options resulted in inconvenience. Despite the promise of accessibility, my request for a ground-floor room went unaddressed, leading to an unexpected and expensive last-minute search for alternative accommodation. For travelers valuing tranquility, D&D's quiet location might appeal, but one must weigh the cost against the limited amenities available.
